You can register for the tournament by paying the entry fee (in EUR) until
May 19th
2025.

tournament.
In the event of cancellation we will retain a processing fee of 10€.
Paying in cash on May 29th
2025 costs an additional 10€.
Attention: The number of participants for this tournament is limited
to 320 in total for this year!
All participants, even those who preregisterd, must hand in their
official entry form to the tournament management until 29th
of May 2025, 9.15 am at the latest, to ensure that everything proceeds
smoothly.
The entry form can also be downloaded and printed in advance as a
PDF-File.

TWZ: for players with DWZ (national rating) and ELO: the higher of both
ratings

IMPORTANT!
Starting January 1st all players who register to compete in any FIDE
rated competition are required to provide their FIDE identification
number. Players who played in a FIDE rated competition before should
already have such an ID (please check
ratings.fide.com
if such a number is assigned to you). German players who do not have a
FIDE ID are required to apply for an ID by contacting the German Chess
Federation - FIDE Rating officer Andreas Klein (Email:
elo@schachbund.de
). Foreign players should contact their national chess federation. For
German players it will be possible to apply for a FIDE ID when
registering for the tournament (in exceptional cases only!). If you have
any questions, please contact the organizers team.

Participants without Rating must play in the A-tournament. Exceptions
will be regulated by the tournament leader on application previously.

It is possible for each participant to pause one round with a "bye" (to
miss one round), but only once! He will get 0.5 points for that round
with no regard to Buchholz. A "bye" in the last round is not possible
and it has be announced during the prior round. A "bye" for the first
round must be announced till 26th of May 2025.

Ranking according to Buchholz. Lowest Buchholz valuation will be
discarded.

Prizes for people who are not paying taxes in Germany will be treated
according to the EStG (German tax law).
- Delay time is 30 minutes after start of round!
- Smoking is not permitted in the tournament hall!
